Strategic Partnership and OSF Grant

In June 2024, the Gulf Peace Foundation received a strategic grant from the Open Society Foundations (OSF) to strengthen its regional research and peacebuilding initiatives. This collaboration supported a joint program with the Raoul Wallenberg Institute (RWI) of Sweden, focusing on the intersection of human rights and climate resilience in the Gulf and wider Middle East.

Through this partnership, GPF launched a series of policy dialogues and training workshops designed to integrate human-rights-based approaches into sustainable development and environmental governance

The program aims to highlight the role of inclusive policymaking in addressing the social and environmental dimensions of regional peace.
