Leadership Lecture at the University of Oxford

In December 2024, Dr. Nadia Al-Hassan, Chief Operating Officer of the Gulf Peace Foundation, delivered a keynote lecture at the University of Oxford’s Department of International Development.

Her talk, titled “Women, Progress, and the Future of Rights in the Gulf Region,” explored the evolving landscape of women’s empowerment and civic participation across the Middle East. Dr. Al-Hassan emphasized the importance of educational access, institutional reform, and transnational cooperation in promoting gender equality and social inclusion.

The lecture was part of Oxford’s annual “Voices of Change” series, attracting scholars, policymakers, and civil society leaders from across Europe and the Arab world.
